March: Chandrika performed a solo concert with Sandhya Srinath, Srinath Bala and A V Krishnan during the Artirudra Mahayagnam Celebrations at the Shiva-Vishnu Temple in Livermore. See the video alongside of the Shiva Panchakshara Stotram which she performed as the grand finale of her performance.
May: One of our senior students, Vaibhav Prakash, participated in the Ragam Tanam Pallavi Competition in the Bay Area Papanasam Sivan Celebrations. Vaibhav did an outstanding job, but missed the first prize, which is the only prize awarded in this competition. Hopefully next time for sure! |

2016
Dec 2016: Nada Sudha School of Music celebrated its Annual Day on Dec 4 at the Lakki Reddy Auditorium, Livermore Shiva-Vishnu Temple, Livermore, CA. The event was a huge success in bringing together students and families to celebrate an eventful year at Nada Sudha.
May 2016: Students of Nada Sudha School of Music participated in the Bay Area Papanasam Sivan Music Competition. Congratulations to Vaibhav and Vardhinee for winning 2nd and 3rd prizes, respectively, in the advanced level krithi categories!
Mar 2016: Chandrika performed as lead vocalist in live orchestra for "Maadhurya Shauryam - Sweetness of Compassion and Empowerment", a Bharatanatyam recital by Harshita Venkatesh and fund-raiser for Maitri, a nonprofit organization that "Helps women Help themselves."
Feb 2016: Chandrika performed "Melodies" on Goddess Mahalaxmi on the occasion of Mahalaxmi Yagam at Livermore Hindu Temple. Watch a video here.
Jan 2016: Chandrika performed at the Sri Kamakshi Community Center (SKCC) in Santa Clara along with other senior Bay area musicians on the occasion of Periyava Utsavam.

(11/7) Chandrika along with young local artistes presented a Carnatic fusion performance at the 2015 TVKS Kannada Rajyotsava Celebrations. (11/1) Chandrika specially composed and presented a dance composition on Panchabhootas (Five Elements) for a Nepal fundraiser event.
